Division of hazardous environment for explosive gases
CLICKS:875
Hazardous sites are divided into zones based on the frequency and duration of the explosion environment.
Explosive gas dangerous sites are divided into three areas: 0, 1 and 2.
Zone 0: the place where explosive gas environment continuously or frequently occurs or exists for a long time.
Zone 1: during normal operation, explosive gas environment may occasionally occur.
Zone 2: In normal operation, explosive gas environment is not possible, if there is, only a short time of existence.
In this context, "normal operation" refers to the normal start, run, stop, loading and unloading of flammable material products, the opening and closing of closed container covers, safety valves, discharge valves and all plant equipment operating within their design parameters.
